Jerry Tucker is Special Counsel at WGC Lawyers practising in the dispute resolution and litigation team, working closely with Managing Director, Rhiannon Saunders and Director John Hayward.
Jerry has extensive experience in high-profile class action litigation, with a focus on human rights and indigenous social justice, having worked in this space for over a decade. She has worked closely with First Nations clients throughout her career and has a strong network in the community across Queensland and particularly in the Far North. Jerry has a proven track record in delivering high quality legal service and results for her clients.
In addition to her class action work, she has represented clients in State and Federal Courts, and resolved disputes across a variety of practice areas. Jerry has held several leadership positions within the Far North Queensland Law Association, including President in 2023 and 2024. She was a recipient of the 2023 Women Lawyers Association of Queensland’s award for ‘Regional Woman Lawyer of the Year’ and a finalist for the Queensland Law Society’s Excellence in Law awards in 2024 for the Access to Justice Award.
Jerry enjoys presenting at legal conferences, including for the Australian Lawyers Alliance, North Queensland Law Association and the Queensland Law Society.
In her spare time, Jerry is an avid diver and snorkeller.
